Choose your two favourite strengths from our speciality grade ground coffee range mix and match or stick with what you love and pair them with a beautiful cafetière in classic grey or blue. It's the perfect way to start your TrueStart journey.

2 × 200g Bags of TrueStart Ground Coffee - your choice of strengths
1 × TrueStart Cafetière - your choice of grey or blue

Instructions

What you'll need:
Your TrueStart cafetière, your chosen ground coffee, hot water (just off the boil), and about 4 minutes. That's it.

Step 1:Add your coffee
Pop 1 heaped tablespoon (around 7–8g) of TrueStart ground coffee per cup into your cafetière. Going for a full pot? Use one scoop per cup and one for the pot.

Step 2: Add hot water
Pour in freshly boiled water — let it sit for 30 seconds off the boil first. That sweet spot temperature (around 94°C) gets the best out of your beans without bitterness. Fill to just below the spout.

Step 3: Give it a stir
A gentle stir makes sure all the grounds are fully immersed. Then pop the lid on (plunger up) and leave it to brew for 4 minutes.

Step 4: Press slowly
Press the plunger down slowly and steadily. No rushing, remember, a smooth press = a smooth cup.

Step 5: Pour and enjoy
Don't leave it sitting! Once brewed, pour straightaway to stop the coffee over-extracting. Then enjoy every single sip.

Do you add anything to your coffee?

No. Nothing added.

We've been sourcing the highest grade specialty coffee from the same farms for over 10 years to ensure a super consistent cup. We roast the best beans from each crop and then comprehensively lab test to ensure the cleanest, healthiest coffee product on the market.

What do you test for to guarantee the best coffee?

Way back in 2015, we were the first company to start lab testing coffee to guarantee cleanness, quality and health credentials.

Our independent lab tests for the following:

No moulds or mycotoxins
No heavy metals
No pesticides

When will I receive my order?

For UK Mainland, if you order before 12pm (mid-day), the great news is you’ll receive your items the next working day.
For Offshore UK (including Scottish Highlands), items ordered before 12pm (mid-day) will take 2 working days to be delivered.
Orders placed over the weekend will be picked and packed on Monday (or Tuesday over bank holiday weekends)
International deliveries usually take between 3-5 working days.

How much is shipping?

The good news is, delivery is free for orders over £30!

If your order is under £30, a small delivery fee of £3.49 will be charged as a contribution towards our delivery costs

Is TrueStart Vegan & Gluten Free?

Yes, all TrueStart Coffee products are vegan & gluten free! There are no animal products in any TrueStart branded products

What is the shelf life?

The shelf life of TrueStart (from roasting/brewing) varies from product to product:

TrueStart Instant Coffee: 24 months
TrueStart Beans & Ground: 12 months
TrueStart Coffee Bags: 12 months
TrueStart Cold Brew Cans: 18 Months

We try to send out product as fresh as possible, with as long as possible before the best before date to give you enough time to enjoy your TrueStart, however this does depend on levels of stock. There may be some cases where you receive something with 3 months until the date.

Store your coffee in a cool dark place, out our direct sunlight and in a sealed container to keep it as fresh as possible for longer.
