We're looking for a Sampling Roadshow Rockstar to deliver an epic TrueStart Coffee x De'Longhi experience across the UK's entire Costco estate!

You'll be focussed on spreading TrueStart's signature positive energy far and wide, this is a super exciting, unique role with fantastic broad progression potential at one of the UK's fastest growing consumer brands!

 

Job Title: Sampling Roadshow Brand Activation Team Leader 

Location: Rotational across various Costco UK Warehouses. Open to candidates based in the South West, South East or North West of England.

Contract: 5-day work week (Wednesday-Sunday), 1-year temporary contract initially (potential for extension based on the success of the events)

Salary & Benefits: £30,000 plus private healthcare

Reports to: Brand Manager

About TrueStart Coffee:

TrueStart Coffee is an exciting and dynamic brand committed to delivering the most joyful, feel-good coffee experience to everyone we meet. We are thrilled to be expanding into Costco and are seeking a passionate, energetic, and motivated individual to lead our roadshow team.

Role Overview:

As the Sampling Roadshow Brand Activation Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team that represents TrueStart Coffee at rotating Costco warehouses across the UK.

Your primary role will be to manage and execute successful 4-day events (Thursday-Sunday) each week. With the core target of driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales. Wednesdays will be dedicated to event preparation and travel.

This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, a high-level of organisation, a love for coffee, and experience in promotional or roadshow events.

If the events are successful, there is potential for this contract to be extended beyond the initial 1-year period. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the roadshow team to ensure high performance and a positive team environment.
  • Event Execution: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of each 4-day event, ensuring that TrueStart Coffee is represented in the best possible light.
  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to educate them about TrueStart Coffee products, drive sales, hit targets, and create memorable experiences that foster brand loyalty.
  • Logistics Management: Coordinate the logistics of moving materials, setting up displays, and managing stock levels at each warehouse.
  • Event Preparation: Use Wednesdays for event preparation, including stock checks, travel arrangements, and any necessary team briefings.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, customer feedback, and event attendance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with Costco management, our partners at De’Longhi, and the TrueStart Coffee team to ensure smooth operations and mutual success.
  • Training: Train and develop team members to improve product knowledge, customer interaction skills, and event management.
  • Achieve weekly sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role (e.g., events, retail management, or roadshow leadership).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in various locations across the UK.
  • A passion for coffee and a keen interest in the TrueStart brand.
  • Full UK driving licence.
