Job Description: Finance Administrator

Location: Willsbridge, Bristol

Job Type: Full-time, office-based with occasional remote working

Salary & Benefits: £28,000 plus private healthcare

Reports to: Managing Director

TrueStart Coffee, an award-winning and rapidly expanding ethical coffee brand, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our dynamic team. As we continue to grow, we need an enthusiastic individual to support the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Managing Director and assist the founders with various tasks as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring timely and smooth fulfillment & liaising with our warehouse team.
  • Invoicing: Manage and issue invoices, ensuring all financial transactions are documented and processed correctly.
  • Credit Control: Oversee payment collections, monitor outstanding invoices, and liaise with customers to resolve payment issues.
  • General Bookkeeping: Maintain up-to-date financial records, assisting with monthly reconciliations, and tracking company expenses.
  • Office Management: Oversee basic office management tasks, including ordering supplies, organising company documentation, and maintaining a productive office environment.
  • Founders' Assistance: Provide administrative support to the two founders (CEO & Managing Director)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when processing financial information.
  • Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and invoicing software & ERP software (e.g., Xero, Unleashed).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A conscientious and proactive work ethic, capable of working independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role is desirable.
